Draft Statement of Licensing Policy 2021- 2026

The Council’s licensing policy must be reviewed at least every five years. The current statement of licensing policy expires in January 2021. We are now consulting on the licensing policy 2021-2026.  We are carrying out a separate consultation on the Cumulative Impact Assessment element of the policy.

The draft proposed policy largely mirrors the existing Policy but with some amendments to make the policy easier to understand and two new additions on showing films and Temporary Event Notice. 

The Licensing Committee approved a new Licesing Policy on 18 November 2020.
